FP+ from tickets to APs?

Thanks to some great suggestions here, we've purchased Parksaver tickets that we're turning into aps. I'm a bit paranoid about losing my fp+ since the tickets they'll be connected to will be gone, and replaced with aps. (Had a horrible experience with buying my first ever magic band and linking it. Woke up the next morning to confirm our schedule for the day and all the fp+s I had made for the account were gone. Now any change I make scares me. Lol!) Can anyone who's done this confirm there were no issues?

Last year I had purchased 5 day ticket and made fast pass selections with those tickets. Then my first day in the park I upgraded to AP. All fast pass selections stayed the same. So all Worked out for us.

We did this in January 2015 - had a 10 day ticket with FP and upgraded to an AP - absolutely no problem - all FP stayed intact doing it again in September

I did this in April. Everything worked fine, nothing was lost.

Did it both when we bought the APs originally and when we renewed them. No issues.

Same here. DH and I did it in March without any issues.
