FP+ for Wishes next week

We have a FP+ for Wishes next Monday 4/25. I saw that Wishes was changing to no FP+ but didn't know when and just read that as of 4/19 the FP+ area will be used to allow for more Dessert Party guests. Does this mean we won't be able to use our FP+?

That's definitely strange. Others reported that they just weren't available after 4/18 for choosing in MDE, or that they received communication telling them to change an existing FP.

Very strange. Our trip is next week and Wishes wasn't an option for the entire week when we selected FPs at 60 days out.

OP, I recommend calling Guest Relations before your trip so that you don't show up on 4/25 to an area roped off for the party.

Oh geez...really strange because our FP is for the parade not Wishes. Oops! Sorry for the confusion! We've never done FP for the parade...is it worthwhile? We're going to a water park all day so the late FP are not keeping us from getting additional FP throughout the day.

I haven't personally done the parade FP, but it is a fast-selling FP and lots of posters here really like it. If you don't particularly need that FP slot for something else, keep it and enjoy!

Where did you read that it would now be used for dessert party guests? I feared this would be the case when it was announced that the FP+ for Wishes was going away, but hadn't seen any official word on that.

We've never watched the parade from that area in the front of the park. It looks good to me though!

Thanks, Beesly! Not that Disney cares, but I kinda loathe that they are doing this. That area was WONDERFUL to watch Wishes from without having to deal with back to front to back kind of crowds. Makes me sad.
