FP+ for TSM & Fantasmic?

I currently have booked three FPs for our DHS day. Our "tier 1" FP is TSM. We will only be going to DHS in the afternoon (it's the day we arrive in Orlando), so arriving at RD isn't an option.

If we use all three FPs by around 6pm, will we be able to book another FP for Fantasmic? We'll be going in early May - crowds are supposed to be "lower" that evening (according to easywdw).

We've never seen Fantasmic so I'd love to get a FP for it. I looked into the dinner package, but I don't know if I want to look us into dining reservations just a few hours after hour plane is supposed to arrive.

I have heard that its easy to get one, particularly for the second show. However, I don't think one is needed for the second show.

If there is a second show that night, then you really don't need a FP for it. Just get in line. Since there are no reserved seats for the dining package at the second show, there are a lot more seats available for standby.

If there is no second show, by all means try to get a FP. There's a chance that some might still be available.
