FP+ for the old and the young

I am 2 days away from making our FP reservations for our Yearly sept trip. However, this trip will be a little different for us because it is our almost 3 year old's first trip and my 72 yr old parents are coming too! Put that together with my 6 yr old DS and 12 yr old DS and fp+ has me stressing! I don't know what to use it on! We are doing 2 days in MK, 2 days in EP, and 1 day each in AK and DHS. I've looked at the thread that rates the value of each fp but I'm still stressed over what to pick an the family is no help! Please let me know your opinions!

Remember that everyone does not have to have the same FP. You can do different things for different people and groups of people. Will your parents do the "big thrill" rides? Is the little one 40 inches and willing to do the big stuff?

In a VERY general sense......
MK....The new mine train & the mountains tend to have long lines. Peter Pan tends to be one of the longest lines and Buzz can get long too.

AK- EE is a good one to FP as it the Safari. We have not been to AK since FP+ so not sure how the two shows are FP, but for us they are both worth a FP.

HS-TSM for sure. R&R and TOT for the willing people. Star Tours can get long too.

Epcot-You have to choose TT or Soaring, and both are worth one. Other lines are not too terrible though Mission Space tends to get long too.

We work our FP with our rope drop and split the most popular stuff between doing it first thing at RD and leaving it to later for FP.
We find FP more effective in the busy afternoon, but it can also get in the way if you find you need a afternoon break but have FP planned for that time period.....not really worked though that one yet.
