FP+ for People Not Staying On-Site

Has anyone tried to book their fastpass + (30 days out) and are not staying onsite? I'm wondering if the selections are very small 30 days out or if there were still times available.

I think it will all depend on level of park crowds when you visit. I was at MK yesterday (4/7) on level 7 crowd with MK as not recommended. Bought ticket at gate and when opened at 8am for pre RD show, CM booked my FP+ with plenty of choices of rides and attractions (although I was able to sync my ticket to my ME app account on my phone and see FP+ , I could not change them, had to get help from CM at JC FP+ kiosk mid day to make a change).

FP+ kiosk were well staffed but got really busy by 11am as crowds started to grow. Apparently many issues still with ME app, so I would not plan on using it to make changes on the fly during day. RD will still be key to getting plenty of rides early (I managed 6 in first 90 minutes) and booking and changing FP+, but must be early in day.

Yes. I booked for an end of April weekend trip at 30 days, and MOST things were fine with plenty of openings, but certainly there were exceptions, the most notable being the Anna and Elsa meet and greet, which I have thus far NOT been able to find on any day at 30 days out. We also have been able to change most but not all within 24 hours of being there, like when our breakfast ADR ran 2 hours late, for example...but we did run into a LOT of rides that were not available in that situation.

I only booked this past weekend for a trip in 2 weeks and everything I want FP for are available with times all day, not sure about meet and greets as we dont have kids, there were plenty of options though.

Yep, no problems getting the attractions I picked. I even found an Anna & Elsa FP+.

I just booked mine for a trip in 2 weeks and got every ride for every time that I wanted. The options seemed limitless.
