FP+ for offsite visitors

For visitors staying offsite, I understand they need to book their FP+on the day iof at the park, but what type of media are they given to scan at the attraction? Is it a card or do they have purchase magic bands?

A friend is going in a few weeks and I'm trying tohelp her plan.

They will use their hard, plastic, park ticket! It will be very easy for them.

If they already have this ticket linked to their MDE account, once they schedule their Fp+ inside the park, their Fp+ schedule will be on their MDE app and they can check it from a mobile device.
