Until offsite guests can schedule online, we just visited over Presidents weekend so Parks were crowded. Get to Parks early, for rope drop or at latest 9-9:30am. If rope drop, you can hop on popular ride or two them get to FP kiosk and make selections. Or like we did many times was hit 2nd or 3rd kiosk from entrance and make selections. Everyone hits 1st kiosk so they are usually crowded while 2nd/3rd ones there is no one at kiosks. We had no problems getting the rides and times we wanted. Always got night times. Got there when parks opened, made FP times, then rode all popular rides with minimal wait times. Took break in afternoon, came back at night and used FP and got right on while waits where 60-200 minutes long! RR was 200minutes, we got on with FP at 6pm within 10min or less. Wait until after 10am and kiosks lines were longer than the ride lines!
Big tip we learned online - when eating especially at counter service we got cups of water. No charge and big cup of water, no little baby cups. Was nice and saved lots of money for desserts later!
Food- Contempo Cafe Frozen cupcake - awesome, best cupcake I ever ate! Warm Cinnamon roll at Gaston's Tavern in MK $4, was big enough for 4 people to eat and again one of best cinnamon rolls! Plus cozy place to sit and relax, was not crowded. 50s cafe was 1st time, food was fine but experience was fun and worth it. Corn bread at House of Blues, great cornbread and for $8 feeds 4-6 people. We always eat Columbia Harbor House in MK upstairs, nice and quiet. But for all those that say the lobster roll is great...... Horrible! You can't taste any lobster, it's just a bunch of mayo. Leave the lobster for Maine! Plenty of other great choices Disney does well, that just isn't one of them. Like a chocolate covered pineapple at Confectionary. Never had before, got lucky, was standing around one day waiting for our chocolate covered apple to be cut up and baker comes out with c.covered pineapple and I asked what it was. Told us and asked if we wanted it, chocolate cracked so I guess they don't sell. Of course we ate it for free and got another one 2 days later when back at MK. Epcot.....everything!! We ate all day in just about every country- pot stickers, sushi, funnel cake, banger/slaw, canoli and ended day with pizza at via Napoli (the best).
