FP+ for Mine Train?

I'm going to WDW with my family in June. My FP+ reservation date is April 15. 7DMT won't be open by then but should be when we go in Mid-June. Does anyone know if we will be able to book FP+ in April or will we have to wait for its official open date for it to become available and keep an eye on MDE? (Of course this is assuming they plan to use FP+ for this ride, but I would think that they would.)

I just cannot imagine this not being a FP ride. If not the ride itself, the amount of time they have taken to complete it alone is enough to put expectations and demand at a high level.

Best thing to do is to keep an eye on the boards and maybe check your MDE regularly.

We are 4 days behind you so will be watching this too.

Disney has already said this is going to be a FP+ ride. It's just that nobody knows when the FP+ will be available for booking.

They're going to have a media event the first weekend in May, which I assume is for the grand opening.

Good news is with the smartphone app, you can change your FP+ reservations on the fly very easily. I've changed FP+ times on the tram ride in cause i didn't think i would get to the attraction on time.

Sure, you'll you'll have to sacrifice one of the other FP+ reservations (3 is no where near enough for MK), but it's the price you have to pay.
