FP for Christmas Parade do you recommend?

We are not big parade people so we have never used our FP's for parades. However, I do LOVE the Christmas parade. I was just want to get some opinions on if it's worth getting a FP for a parade? Is the viewing area that much nicer and unstressful like the fireworks viewing area?(I love the Fireworks FP)

what dates? we found good curbside viewing last year on Dec 29 outside of Mickey's theater with relative ease and not too much wait. If you are going to be there a really crowded time and rides are important, IMO I'd save fast pass for rides. There are many places to view fireworks/parades, only one line for rides. BUT if the parade is your top priority and you will stress about it, then yes use fast pass. Then you won't have people crowding in at the last minute asking/demanding you make room for them.

Our dates are Dec 17th-23rd. I was thinking using it on the 20th. One of the reasons we never really watch parades since my children were little was due to fighting for spots or if you save your spot for an hour some rude person always ruins it. LOL...

We are using one for the 20th. Trying to get out of the crowds & not having to stake out a good spot & lose ride time makes it worth it for us. YMMV.

That is what I was thinking. We will be doing out the same day. I am hoping they have an earlier parade.
