FP+ fireworks areas during MNSSHP

Since there are no FPs during the Halloween parties, what happens to the FP viewing areas? Are they open for anyone who wants to camp out in them?

Nobody knows yet. Lots are still hoping for a special event with access to that area.

I fully expect those areas to be reserved for a premium package of some kind. Should know in the next week or two.

Yep ... everything seems to be pointing to premium package. May not be an expanded Villains Soiree but something new. Most likely taking advantage of the FP+ areas to accommodate more premium guests. Rumors seem to point to info released by the end of August.

Haven't they even mucked with the MNSSHP fireworks/parade schedule, pointing to something in the works?

Yes, the times have shifted from 8:15, 9:30 and 10:30, to 8:35, 10:00 and 11:15. It remains to be seen why exactly. It may have more to do with the new stage show versus the potential premium event.
