Evening EMH hours are new to us since our last visit, and we're looking forward to trying them during our trip in June. One question I can't seem to find the answer to is whether fastpass is in use during those hours. Do the FP return times extend into evening EMH? Or does the FP system "restart" for those three hours? Thanks for any insight ~

When we were there for EMH (PM) in June, Soarin fastpasses are gone by 1 or 2pm. and they went thru regular park hours...At 9pm on a huge line formed at the fastpass machines for Soarin and they started giving out fastpasses for the EMH. They went really fast... :goodvibes

FastPasses do "restart" at the beginning of the evening EMH.
One word of warning.....I see you are going in June. We were there last June 15-23 and can honestly say the evening EMH was a waste of time. Far too many people, in some cases busier than during the day. The morning EMH worked out great. Actually any park at opening (EMH or not) is great for the first 2-3 hours. We tried the EMH at the Studios one night. Luckily we overheard a CM talking about re-opening the FP machines for the TOT. We grabbed FP right away and after the ride the next return time was way into the night. All the wait times on the board were so long we just left.
I can imagine that the evening EMH is great in the off-season. But during peak times you are much better off going early and forgetting the evening EMH.

Thanks, Goof -- I had read that was true, but hey, my kids are 20, 17, and 14, so they're really looking forward to being in the parks at 1 am! We arrive on a Friday, around noon, so my plan is to hit AK for the afternoon, go to dinner at Boma, and then maybe go to MK for EMH. If it's too crowded, maybe the kids will realize it's not worth it! Thanks ~

We are going June 12-22, and due to what you wrote, will probably avoid the EMH at night and go to all the ones in the morning. Is there any park that you went to the EMH that wasn't overly crowded? Thanks!!

We just returned from WDW a week ago and did MGM Emh. There were no fastpasses available at the TOT and Rnrc FP machines. They were covered.

Maybe it was because we were doing EMH in January and they did not feel the need for FP? The rides were quite busy however, could have used a couple of FP's for Tot and Rnrc.....

All in all, the evening EMh were pretty good. We did not wait too long, and we got to do what we wanted. I would do it again in January....maybe not in June.

I saw in a mailer that disney sent me that the evening emh was up to 3 hours. Is there any standard are do they close depending on how busy they are?

We only tried the Studios for the evening EMH. Because it was SOOOO crowded and really a waste of our time we skipped the rest and stuck with the early arrival at the parks. This worked out for the best. Even the Magic Kingdom is quiet the first few hours if you go left and stay away from Tomorrowland. We saw Mickey's Philharmagic last June with about six other people first thing in the morning.

The evening EMH has always been three hours. The Disney info states "up to three hours" just in case they need to make it less. I have never heard of anything less than three hours since they started the evening EMH.

I understand that the evening EMH if the off-season is great. Also read, and have experienced as noted, during the peak seasons FORGET ABOUT IT!

We were there last July and stayed twice for the evening EMH at MK. It is by far some of the best memories we have of the trip! T
he park was open until 2:00 AM which for the two 9 year olds in the group being allowed to stay up that late was about as good as it gets!

the first hour was crowded but after that...it emptied out. We walked on just about every ride. At one point we were the only ones we could see in FantasyLand...there wasn't anybody around. The CM's were all in quirky moods (it was 1:00AM) and let us stay on rides without getting off, joking with the kids, etc. I'd say give it a chance if your family wants to...we weren't going to stay based on what I had read but i am so glad we did!

Also, the characters were out in full swing and there were plenty of busses waiting to take us back to the hotel as soon as the park closed.

We went this past October/Nov and there were no fast passes for EMH, we went to Mk, we had almost no wait though, maybe becuse it was not a peak time.

I think there was another post about this, I'll say the same thing I said in the other one. There were times when there were fastpasses for rides and times where there weren't. This mostly happened in MK. There was a time I believe where there were fastpasses for Test Track, but I'm not sure. I remember it definatly being at MK sometimes, I don't know why they do it sometimes and sometimes not. Maybe it depends on how bad they think the crowds will be?
