FP different return times

I'm heading to MK for one day (9/12) and made my fast passes for the day. DH is now coming along too! I added him on MDE and got him fast passes for the same rides, however, since he joined the trip late - his FP return times and mine don't line up. The return windows do overlap though - some more so than others. Question is, do we wait for the beginning of his return window, or can we join the line together when my window opens up? Just curious - certainly happy to wait for the overlap! A big thank you as always!!

They have to overlap. Don't forget you have your "grace period" before and after too, so use that to your advantage.

Alternatively, just modify yours or his so they overlap better. Shouldn't be hard to do day of.

It's best just to wait for the later window to open (so if your window is 3:30-4:30 and his is 4-5 you would wait for 4). There is some grace period in either direction but that really depends on a number of factors (mainly which attraction, how busy, and what the CM running it feels like doing that day). 5-10 minutes, maybe (but they can just as easily tell you to wait the 5-10 minutes). It's "free to ask" as I say and you may be let in at the earlier time but I just wouldn't count on it for any touring plan or dining reservation purposes.

Oddly, I had a lot of luck on the actual park day moving our passes to be togehter (I had booked 3 for one attraction that DS 11 swore he would not go on, then he wanted to go so I booked him alone at a later overlapping time. I was then able to move all of us to a time together that was 15 minutes later than my original window started).

You'll have to go during the overlapping time.
If you go when your window starts but his has not started then his will light up blue and he won't be able to go and then you'll stand there and explain the situation and the CM might let you both in or might not.
You might as well just make it easier for all involved by going during the overlapping time.
