This is our first week at the parks since the full switch to FP+. We were at FW for two weeks at Christmas and were able to enjoy the advance FPs and also legacy with our AP cards. I thought this week would be less than perfect with only 3 FPs per day and early Spring break crowds, but our week has been perfect. Having the FPs has allowed us to just go jn the evenings and do what we can. Without having to worry about rope drop we've slept in, had relaxing morning, toured resorts, take a nap and then hit the parks for our evening fun. On the days when we had early FPs it was kinda nice to use them and not worry about running somewhere to get another FP. I could just throw up my arms, look at my husband and the kids and say, "we can do whatever now."
So did FP+ change our touring. Yes! For the better? Quite possibly. I sill think the tiering, and not park hopping should change and possibly giving 4 passes would be nice.
I DO feel bad for people standing in the FP+ question at the parks. That system needs addressed for people who don't have advance FP+. We talked to several people who go to a person by 10 am and all the passes were gone.
