I am so confused.
I currently have a one night room-only reservation at POR the first week of November. The remaining 4 nights of the trip will be spent offsite.
I have 9 days left on my Undercover Tourist Non-Expiring park hopper ticket from a past trip.
Should I link my UT ticket to the Disney hotel reservation so I can use fp+? If I do this, will I be able to use fp+ for the entire trip, since I will have enough days left on the ticket (or does this just work for AP holders)?
What happens to the unused portion of the ticket after this trip? If you link the UT ticket to the reservation, do you HAVE to use magicband, or can you still use the physical UT "plastic" ticket?
We are a rope drop family, so ideally, we would like to use fp+ for the 2nd park we go to in the late afternoon/evening and just use a smart touring plan for the morning hours.
I have read through tons of threads on fp+ and am just about ready to throw in the towel.
Any insights you can offer would be much appreciated.
