FP+ Booking Fun - I think I'm beginning to loose it!

My 60 days came up this week. I was all prepared, so proud of myself. I had my list ready of what I wanted when each day. I got on and booked FOP first, followed by the other headliners I wanted. I was feeling pretty happy with myself at this point, as I found most of what I wanted when I wanted it. Then, I go to do rides for the last day I had left, and up comes an error message stating I already have a ride booked for this time slot, do I want to cancel? Confusion sets in for a split second, and then I realize, I made an entire day's worth of FPs for the wrong day! And what do you think it was asking me to cancel? FOP! I just set there stunned for a good few minutes, debating on which would be worse, redoing two days worth of adr, so I could switch my park days or redoing the FP. Finally reality set in, and I realized changing parks wasn't an option for a number of reasons that had nothing to do with ADR. Of course FOP wasn't available for when I needed it. I did eventually get it all straightened out, but lesson learned, double check those dates!

I did almost the same thing. I had my FPs booked at 60 days...went on to book my sisters (she's offsite at 30 days) and felt all accomplished because I got the times almost to line up. Then noticed I had Am times and her "matching" times were Pm times......grrrrrr. So watch your times too!!

Picking fast passes is super stressful especially when you are a planner and you feel like everyone's trip is on your shoulders. I bet you did great, have an amazing trip!

Yes, I have done this twice. Once with an FEA FP (when that was the coveted FP) and once with a 7DMT FP. I figured it out in enough time to get it switched with FEA but didn’t realize I had scheduled a day we weren’t there accidentally until a few weeks before our trip for 7DMT. I think that because it’s smart to do the hardest to get first and bounced around between days you’re doing the most important and complicated ones before you’ve got the process down. Sorry that happened to you too. Keep checking on FOP. There have been stories of it coming up for people after their window opening day.

Yes the am / pm thing. I'm guilty of this as well. I keep doing it on meals and on Touring Plans when I'm working with my plan.

Thankfully, since I caught the mistake right away, I was able to get a FP for FOP. It just wasn't anywhere near the time I was trying for, so I ended up having to rearrange the whole day. It's fine though. After reading the running of the bulls thread about crowds heading toward FOP in the morning, I think it worked out for the best. I ended up with one in the evening.

I just have one meal left I'm playing around with, and I'm also trying to decide if we want to do the Void one day at DS. But other than that, our schedule is set, and I'm really happy with the way it turned out.

As fun as making FP are now, I'm just so glad they've changed from how they were in the beginning. That was a real mess, with Disney assigning you 3, and then you had to go in and change each one by one. Although, I do miss that 4th you use to get for MK.

Maybe I'm remembering wrong, but I swear when FP+ very first came out, there was a short time they were letting people book 4 FP for MK ahead of time. You couldn't do it for the other parks, only MK. It was back during testing, and I'm not sure it was even open to everyone to do. I can't remember. That was so long ago.
