FP between the two parks

I was just thinking about touring between the two parks. Are the FP systems between the two parks linked? For example, if we started the day at DL, rode a few rides, got FP for Indy (but didn't ride it), then hopped over to CA at their opening. Could we get FP to TOT right away, or would we have to wait until the FP return time to DL?

Am I correct in that I think the WOC FP is not linked in with the others?

I'm not even sure if we are going to be hopping, but if the opening times vary by 2 hours, it is tempting...

The 2 parks are not connected so you can get FP's simultaneously in each park. Also there are a couple of rides that are off network too (atleast they used to be) Roger Rabbit and Grizzly River Rapids. Someone correct me if I'm wrong! Also WOC FP's will have no affect on you getting other FP's!

I am pretty sure that GRR is now connected to the network. But the WOC fastpass has no bearing on you getting any other fastpass. So don't hesitate to grab one! :thumbsup2

And Disneyland and DCA operate on two different fastpass systems, so you can get a fastpass for a Disneyland ride and immediately walk over to DCA and obtain another fastpass without waiting.

Also, last time we went, we were able to just activate our tickets at one park and then use them to obtain FPs at the other park without everyone actually being there. That means all of you can go to Disneyland, everyone gets their ticket activated, and then one person from your party can take all the tickets, hop to DCA, and grab FPs for everyone. This can be especially helpful for those with small children or people who have trouble walking, etc. Again, this was the case last time I was there, hopefully it is still true! :)

On most days......Definitely tour DL & collect FPs the first couple of hours & THEN hop to DCA.

My response from a similar post from a week ago.

Good FP strategy is to pick up a handful in the morning & use them in the more crowded late afternoon & evening.

Have a great time at Walt's Park. :thumbsup2

Hound 109 - Thanks! I'll definitely have to go through all of those links.

archOwl - That's good to know about the tickets! We'll have my two little ones, my scooter-riding husband and both of my parents (my mother in a wheelchair) in our group...I think we'll move through the park slowly. So, I may end up needing to be our two-park FP runner, especially for WOC!

PS: My daughter wanted to choose a smile to add, here's the one she chose: :maleficen
