FP + automatically cancelled if you cancel Room Package

I'm heading down the first week of May. At the moment I have a room only reservation through my work for a convention. Convention services is not putting names to the reservations until APRIL 18!! So I won't have a confirmation number until then. This means I can't book FP+ until I get there correct?
I keep going back and forth between just buying a package or going with the convention rate- I'm tempted to just buy the package so I can start planning but the convention rate is really cheap GF CL RPC.
So if I book a package and make my FP+ reservations and then decide to cancel the package and go with the convention room will my FP+ reservations get automatically canceled with the package? Anyone know?

I believe they will be cancelled as I called and asked yesterday if I changed my booking from a package to room and DDP only that they would indeed be cancelled.

FP+ is linked to your tickets, and since a package includes tickets, my assumption would be yes, your FP+ would be cancelled if your package with tickets was cancelled.
