If one of my first 3 FP+ is for TT, and TT is broken down when my window opens then...

1- when does it change to an Anytime, does it wait until the end of the window?

2- if it does convert, does that count as the FP+ being used or do I now have to select a 3rd in the same park in order to roll to my 4th? If it was my 3rd, can I start choosing the 4th in any park immediately?

1- As soon as they determine it will be down for a bit your FP should convert over and you'll get an email.
2- It does not count as having been used.

So then do I need to select another FP in that park in order to burn through my 3 before I can select another Tier 1 or another park? That really stinks at Epcot because there isn’t anything else we’d even want, that actually makes it harder to use it.

If you are park hopping you never have to use all 3 from park 1 before choosing a FP at park 2. You could make 1 FP at EPCOT and as soon as you tap it you could add 2 FP's (including a tier 1) at another park. If you are staying in the same park then yes, you would need to use a 3rd FP before adding another. Of course if TT is the ride that goes down you will be able to add another tier 1 anyways.

So in this case, say I have already used my 1st and 2nd FP at Epcot, could I take that anytime from TT and get a FP at say AK for FoP and just hop over there? And do I just walk up to FoP and redeem it, I don’t have to choose a time? (Assuming FoP is eligible, I know sometimes it isn’t)

Trying to wrap my brain around this. I’ve been stalking the WDW app for ride times and notice TT has been down at some point most of the mornings I’ve checked. We only planned the morning in FW and then to hop to AK at night.

The Anytime is a Bonus FP and does not take the place of an initial 3 FP.

You can reschedule/rebook that initial downed FP for another park if hopping.

Check your Bonus Multiple Experience FP because it may only be good for the park in which it was issued.

Unfortunately the Anytime FP that you get for a ride going down will only be good at that park and for that day (unless it goes down during the last hour or so of the park being open). They also limit the rides they can be used on depending on which ride the Anytime FP is for. You may be able to ask to have it changed if you are changing parks and hope they will do it. Or just grab another ride in that park using the Anytime FP.

Hm, ok. Sounds like if TT goes down we are going for an extra ride on Frozen lol

OH of course it is! Lol. Do they seriously do that just because TT goes down constantly?
Yes. I was getting quite a few Anytime FP's at EPCOT due to TT going down. If FEA was an option then that FP line would likely get very long. We left the park with a few remaining Anytime Passes.
