Last year I had a premium annual pass and was able to make FP+ reservations over a 3 week period for our vacation. I've seen that the literature now says that I can only make 7 days worth of reservations in any 30 day period - is this true?

If so, this will be a nightmare for us as we will be visiting again for 3 weeks with family members who will be on normal tickets so able to plan their FP+ reservations for the period but we will be more restricted so will probably miss out! :(

Hi. This is my experience we have AP and we come for 2 weeks. I just add the following week when the first week passes. I honestly have never found it to be an issue. Good luck!

Thanks for the response. So I wouldn't have to wait 23 days after we have used our last FP?
If we were going on our own I would be fine about it but the others will already have their FPs planned so we will be trying to slot everything together! I'm tempted not to get an AP for this year!

If you're staying on site you can make FP's for the length of your stay. If your offsite then AP's have only ever been able to hold 7 days of FP at a time.

So if you're staying offsite then make your first 7 days. After you use the first day, you can go and make FP's for your 8th day.

Yup - we are going for 2 weeks in August and are super bummed we are restricted to 7 days of fastpasses. Once you've used 1 day (so only have 6 days of FP booked left) you can book an additional day....so you can always have 7 days of fastpasses on a rolling basis.

How does this work with multiple on-site visits? I thought the 7 day limit was just for off-site visits, but am running into problems with multiple trips. I am currently within the 60 day limit for a September on-site visit, but I cannot make any Fastpass+ reservations because I have 7 days of passes for an off site visit in August. The trips are more than 30 days apart, but it won't let me make any new reservations until I use the existing ones.

I'm worried that I will run into the same problem with a planned trip for Thanksgiving - my 60 window opens on the first day of our September trip. Hoping that because both of those trips are onsite it will allow me to have two sets of Fastpasses. Does anyone have experience with this?

I think the problem might be with your off-site stay. Since your trip in Sept & Nov are both on-site you shouldn't have a problem making FPs for the Nov trip at the 60 day mark. I just had this - trip in June and Aug - I was able to make FPs for my Aug trip before I was even on my June trip.

I just got done dealing with this for onsite September trip and (attempt at off site) July trip. Disney insists that because I am using fps for my September trip the 7 days annual pass fps were already used up for my July trip (even though the trips are separated by more than a 30 day window). You will be unable to book fps for your off site trip. I feel this is an underhanded way to force people to stay onsite. When I purchased my annual pass I was under the assumption that I had 7 days in a 30 day window for off site and length of stay up to 14 days for on site 60 day window. Please call and voice your dissatisfaction.

Since both of your trips are onsite for Sep and Nov you will be able to book for both, but I believe no more than 14 days total (though this info was fuzzy and changed depending on who I talked with). I think these rules need to be spelled out in black and white on the annual pass page so that we know what we are getting into before we purchase.

How many total days of fps did you book for the two trips combined?

I had 10 days booked for the trip in June which started 6/9 and I had 6 days booked for my trip in Aug. I booked the Aug FPs on 6/1 - on-site stays for both trips.

Interesting, according to the cms I spoke with, you should have only been able to book 14 days total. Though you are not the first person who I have been in contact with who has been able to book more. To me it seems like you should be able to book length of stay up to 14 days for each trip, but I was told multiple times it is 14 days total in a 60 day window. I wish they would put these rules in writing so that we could have something to refer to.

Okay so being a Florida Resident Pass Holder I can make advance FPs 30 days out. Are you guys saying that is limited to only 7 days total ? I thought I could make them for all 30 days if I chose to. That doesn't seem right or fair. What if I actually planned to visit more than 7 days in that 30 day window. There will not be any good FPs 6 days out. Wow another reason to add to my review of why I won't be renewing $700 passes for our family of 4.

I'm not sure if Florida resident is exactly the same but yes, regular pass holders are limited to 7. I have a 14 day trip this month and I can only book fp for 7 of my 14 days in advance

Unless you are staying onsite you can only hold 7 days worth of FPs at one time. Once you use day 1, you can then book another day.

So far I have not and probably won't ever have an occasion to need more than 7 days staying off site. Except possibly next year due to marathon weekend not lining up with my daughters Spring Break. Looking on the Disney web site I don't see anything about a limit of 7 days. It states you can make fastpass reservations for each day of a valid theme park ticket linked to your account. Mine is valid for all 365 days so that should mean 365 days of fastpasses subject to the 30 or 60 day advance limit.

Nope. Limit of 7 unless onsite.

This is from the FAQ for the FP section on the WDW website.

Annual Passholders can plan 7 days of FastPass+ selections within any 30-day period for one park per day. Secure up to 3 experiences per day up to 30 days in advance. And if plans change, it’s easy to update or cancel your selections, subject to availability.

Passholders with reservations at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel can start making FastPass+ selections as early as 60 days prior to the check-in date―and can secure FastPass+ selections for the length of stay or up to 7 days. Please note that if your length of stay is longer than two weeks, FastPass+ selections can be made for up to 14 days.

Sorry not saying it's not there but I sure can't find it. It's not in any of my annual pass paperwork. I spent an hour going back and forth on the Disney site. Can you link me the actual page you found that ? If it's in the passholder section that might be the problem. Even though I'm signed in that part of the web site will not open.

Thank You. If I saw that I thought that was the Mom's panel and I don't waste my time reading their answers to anything. I certainly don't agree with that policy but my only option is to protest and not renew my very expensive passes.
