If you stay at a WDW owned resort you can make 3 FP+ per day for your entire visit to WDW at the 60 day mark.

But if we stay at the Dolphin - then I think the 3 FP+ per day, it is at the 30 day mark for each day of our visit to WDW.

What are the chances we will miss the wonderful great popular rides at WDW?

ALSO - EMH ? In the AM EMH we can do lots of rides in the past without a FP.
Are FP+ only for normal hours of park operations - OR - Can you request a FP+ for an EMH AM/PM at a Park?

Our time frame is early May, before Mothers Day, moderate crowds.

Please advise.
Thank you to all the great planner DIS'ers out there :thanks:

1. Up to 10 days, yes.
2. EDIT: Dolphin and Swan offer 60-day advance FP+ bookings.
3. At 30-day mark: Anna & Elsa, likely gone. MK's MSEP and Wishes, likely gone.
MK's 7DMT, likely gone. MAYBE DHS' TSM, gone.
4.Still true.
5. Yes.
6. No FP+ during AM or PM EMH.

Swan and Dolphin guests are eligible for FP+ booking at the 60 day prior mark. They are the only non-Disney resorts with this perk.

So the Dolphin may be for us again.
With 2 adult children we can still do the Dolphin for about $300 per night, AAA rate.
If we do the GFV studio or PolyV studio we would spend about $340 a night for
a smaller room, but more bathrooms, a microwave, and less storage space.
Not sure if we would really cook in a microwave. And the Dolphin has a small refrigerator just like the DVC studios.

FP+ scared us a bit, but at 60 days out, who really knows where they will be ?

We like EMH AM's and have done many rides, so we will FP+ what we can for the 9 am to noon hour at a park.

Robo Thank you for the advice. You are a big help.

Marthasor - are you sure they have the 60+ ability ?
can you show me where the info is - S/D website? WDW website?

Dolphin and Swan are considered onsite resorts and have the 60-day advance booking of FPs.

From Mesaboy's FP thread:
  1. Onsite guests (which includes those staying at the Swan and Dolphin but not at Shades of Green nor any Downtown Disney-area hotels) can prebook attractions up to 60 days in advance of the beginning of an on-site stay and for their entire trip. In other words, at 60 days before a check-in date one can make FP+ selections for the entire trip--up to 14 days. This can be done via the MDE/MDX website or app. (I recommend the website over the app, which can still best be described as glitchy.) FP+ can be prebooked for the number of days equal to the guest’s linked ticket.

Yes it has been established that Swan and Dolphin are accepted at 60 days now for FP+. The reservation may be linked to MDX. You will not be able to charge back to your room and if you want a magic band you'll need to buy one, though.

I have been able to find almost everything at 30'days out with the exception of Anna and Elsa. I also have good luck inside that window. Mine train and parades may or may not be available.

We even checked for 2 during Christmas and I was surprised. (Parks with tiers had more challenges, but I don't recall except maybe New Years Eve being very tight and not much available checking within a few days of that.)

We are an EMH family and have always used that to maximize what we can do.
