Four years of points at one time?

Has anyone done a trip using 4 years of points at once? For example we have an Aug UY, take a trip in late July/early Aug 2013 using 2011 and 2012 points for the July part and then 2013 and 2014 points for the Aug portion of the trip. I know this could be risky if we needed to cancel the trip, but curious if anyone else has ever done it. We are thinking of taking a trip to Aulani and would love to stay for 2 weeks.

Interesting thought, I never really imagined doing that, I suppose it's concievable, however, I wonder if there would be some technical hangup on Disney's end that would prevent you from doing it.

I know it's been discussed a couple of times and recall a few posts of people stating they intended to do it that way. I do not recall any posts from someone who's done so. Other than the risks associated with reservations late in the UY and with banked/borrowed points, it shouldn't be an issue. Just make sure you bank the 2011 points and carefully calculate how many you're need, esp in the 2012 UY portion.
