Yes, if the points are current use year points. In other words, the points cannot be in banked or borrowed status. The points will retain their original use year and home resort.

To make a transfer, you call MS. You'll need to know your friend's name and address. Transfers are a final transaction and cannot be undone.

Keep in mind that you are only allowed one transfer per use year, either into your account or out of your account, but not both in the same use year. So transferring the 4 points will use up your transfer and your friend's transfer for the use year.

You call MS and tell them your friend's name, city and state and and ask them to transfer the points. You will use your and his once a year transfer for the 4 points. Not sure I would want to use my transfer that way.

SO I came on to post a transfer questions so I will just add on to this thread...thinking os selling my leftover 23 points for transfer...but they would expire end of june 2011 (I have a june use year) is that right?

With a June Use Year, the points would expire May 31, 2011. As long as they are points from the current June, 2010 Use Year and were not banked from your 2009 Use Year they can be transferred to another DVC member. They can also be banked so you could use them thru the end of May, 2012.
