Four adults in a cat. 5?

DH might (95% sure) be deployed over Thanksgiving and my parents and sister are taking a cruise - the four day that ends on Thanksgiving Day. Dad said I am welcome to come along and will talk to his travel agent about getting a Cat. 5 room that sleeps four instead of three. I know he doesn't really want to go any bigger since the room has been booked for a while. So... Is a Cat. 5 big enough for four adults? I don't mind sharing a bed with my sister, but four of us with one bathroom might be asking for trouble!

You sholdn't have to sleep with your sister. Your parents can have the big bed. You can have the sofa that converts to a bed, and sister can have the berth that comes out of the ceiling.

My only concern with this would be the bathroom situation, although in a cat 5 the bathroom is split --toilet and sink in one room, sink and shower in another. You might just have to get creative in who takes showers when.

I think it'd be a nice distraction for you if dh is deployed. The only thing is, what if he's not? There will be penalties for cancelling if it's not done before a certain date.

We should know when we move to his permanent assignment in June - and I will also know then if I can be transferred with my job and get that week off then, too. So we're not making any decisions just yet!

Good to know there's a berth, though, instead of sharing a bed! Although I'll probably be on it - my sister gets sea sick on the top bunk.
