I bought Crocs 2 months ago and while I'm happy with the purchase and their comfort, my legs will still hurt after a long day of walking. I thought that something with a little more support would be better. Today I went to the Nordstrom sale and bought a pair of Keen sandals for 59.00 (they're normally 89.00). I never spend this kind of money on shoes but I'm eager to find something that will keep my feet comfortable with support so that my legs won't feel tired at the end of the day. I've only been wearing them for a couple of hours but so far they're great.
There's a picture of them at Zappos. com http://www.zappos.com/n/br/b/427.html

I wore those exact shoes for my trip in June and they were great. My feet usually swell and get very sore but this trip I had no problems at all. You'll be so happy you got them!

Gald you find something you like. Gotta have the right shoe/sandal for all the walking. My family (including kids) wear Birkenstock sandals. We had no problem. Have a great trip!
:cheer2:

I just have to add my own take on Keen's. I too bought them on advice from someone on these boards. I bought them at Nordstrom's also and paid the full $89. I wore them on a trip to the Mall of America after breaking them in and got huge blisters on my feet the first day. I tried wearing them again after I got home just for daily walks and again got huge blisters in the same spot (ball of my foot). So, I don't like them and have now given them to my 13 year old daughter. A very expensive lesson learned.

luckily, brought two different styles of merrils sandals, and 1 pair of reef flip flops. My feet felt great! I alternated each day, even the reefs did fine on the mgm day. Love my Merrils!
I have terrible feet, high arch and bunions, the merrils really gave me good support.

UGGGHHH. I used gel insoles and they were worthless.

Wish I'd seen this post before I went.

after reading a previous post here on the DIS I bought a pair of Teva
sandals. I love them! Best sandals ever! Didn't have any problems
with sore feet at all! :cool1:

I prefer socks for walking. And since socks with sandals are dorky, I wear my Nike walkers. I love the pair I have but they have been discontinued. I ONLY wear them for Disney trips now. My DD thinks I'm nuts, but they truly are the only shoes I can wear 12 hours a day and not have feet that hurt!

Ditto on the merrells...got myself a pair for our May trip and they were great! :cool1: no sore legs or feet at all (I got thtr palmattos style)
