Found a "pool noodle" in the off season!

After a week-long hunt, I finally found a "pool noodle" (even though it's almost October)!

I wish I had thought to buy one in the summer, when you could buy them at dollar stores. But I didn't even think about buying one until the end of September, and finally found one at a small sporting goods store. I've been trying places like discount stores and toy stores, but no luck.

Once the summer clearance stuff was gone from our local stores (I live in Washington State, so it's definitely fall weather), I figured it was a lost cause. But I called my local Big 5 Sporting Goods, and they found one in the back storage room for me. Yay!

Well, since I won't have a rental car (using ME) and wasn't sure if they sell them at the resorts, I figured it would be a good idea to get one before I go.

After reading your post yesterday, when I went to Walmart today I noticed they had a bunch for $2.

A pool noodle seems very large to pack. If you need a pool toy buy a blow up ring and blow it up shenyou get there. With the high cost of airline baggage fee I would never pack a pool noodle.

Yeah! We left several at OKW main pool last October and my daughter asked if I think they are still at OKW. Too funny, now I can tell her they just may be when we visit in 3 weeks
