I started packing my carry-on today .It's a backpack that I only use for travel.

I keep some stash money and a credit card I only use for emergencies . Well low and behold I go to fill it up a bit and there's $200 I must have left in from our Oct trip.

ROFLMGDAO!! The sad thing is I can say something exactly like that to my DH and it will ZOOOOOOOM right over his head. I scammed this man for extra gas money for YEARS and he still hasn't caught on.

He had me on a strict budget - I got $60 a week for myself - at the time though I was commuting over 450 miles a week. That $60 went fast - so I decided that DH and I needed to suck it up and commute together at least once a week - in my car of course. All week long I'd only put in $5 here and $5 there just to makes sure I was on E when our commuting day came - it NEVER EVER dawned on him that EVERY SINGLE WEEK he'd get in and I'd tell him I had no gas and no money left for the week - so he'd creak open his wallet and fill me up. I was spending only about $25 a week on gas thanks to DH

My first thought is ...you let your husband have more than $80.... ...if not I like to know where he got it from

Also I found $10 dollars in my car when I vacumed it out a few days ago

I have a clear rule in my house- any money I find doing laundry is MINE! Usually it's just a couple dimes or a quarter, although my son did leave a $20 in his pocket once (I tortured him awhile when he realized, but I did relent and give it back- with a warning that next time I wasn't going to be so nice!)

BTW...my $80.00 is hidden in the kitchen cabinet behind some cleaning supplies....he'll never find it in there!!
