FOTL When Staying at a Universal Hotel?

I am planning on staying at HRH for one night January 2-3. I know that give us FOTL privileges, but my question is when does this privilege start and finish?

Does it start when I check in and good for that day only? Or would it start then and continue for the full day that I check out? In other words, two days of FOTL privilege for one night's stay?

Trying to figure out the best way to utilize this privilege and don't see the information anywhere on Universal's site.

I believe it is 2 days(check in/check out) for one night stay, but someone will correct me if I am wrong.

Yep, it would be valid for two days. On the first day, you can check-in early and pick your hotel key cards for the FOTL even if they don't have your room ready and on the day you check out, the pass will be valid the entire day till whenever the park closes.
