FOTL on checkout day

Can you use FOTL on the day you check out of the Hard Rock? We were going to hit the park all day before transfering over to Disney. I knew that you had to have your room key for FOTL. And, I knew we would have to check out before we hit the park for the day. Will that leave me with no room key and no FOTL??

When I booked our room, I requested that exact information. I was
told that you can use FOTL privileges the day of checkout. The
guy asked his supervisor just to be sure.

Yes, you can use the room card all day on your check-out day.

We did it last Saturday with no problem at all!
