FOTL necessary in mid-January?

We're heading down mid-January (the week of MLK birthday). Will FOTL be necessary at that time (other than the holiday itself)? Or will it be relatively uncrowded? Trying to decide on a hotel.

We were there around Jan 14th last year. We stayed at HRH and we used FOTL about 2 times in 2 days. It really was not needed. However, I would still stay at the hotel!

I am not sure how much MLK holiday would affect it.

I go every January and the crowds virtually disappear after January 2nd. The difference is soooooo weird!
