I don’t have the option, it’s either aft or forward. None are remotely close to midship for this room categoryWe’ve sailed many times on the fantasy. Both forward and aft. Aft has more vibration, not even close. Pick a forward cabin, close to midship.
There are lots of confirmed aft vibration issues. It didn't bother us but I definitely saw what people mean. I'm less familiar with motion issues in the forward but if you're susceptible to motion sickness maybe that's worse than vibration? As others have said you can still try to pick rooms as close to mid ship as possible even if they aren't categorized as midship. Good luck deciding!I don’t have the option, it’s either aft or forward. None are remotely close to midship for this room category
We’ve sailed in 7004 and 9000. Both about as forward as you can get on the fantasy. Both were fine. We felt almost zero motion.I don’t have the option, it’s either aft or forward. None are remotely close to midship for this room category
If this is your first cruise, you don't know that you'll get seasick easily onboard the cruise. Cruise ships are totally unlike small boats in that regard. I've had to deal with motion sickness on land and small boats, but do not have a problem with it on cruise ships, which are huge and well stabilized. So that's one thing to keep in mind. Most cruisers do not get seasick.Looking at the deluxe family oceanview and heard there’s issues with vibration on the aft and motion at the front.
I’m a light sleeper and get sea sick easily. This is our first cruise and I can’t decide which will be better.
