Hi everyone I have just registered myself to this forum and was just wondering if anyone could give me some tips on how to use it and what experiences you have had using it.
A friend of my sister-in-law uses them and she is a complete wiz on Disney and Florida but they do go every year.
We have only been twice so far and have just booked for Nov.2003 so I would really like to get to know what I can do on this site.
Hope to haer from anyone soon.

Craig,

Firstly welcome to the boards. You can use the boards for any information needed on Disney, the parks or pretty much anything else to do with staying in or around the Disney area. Have a look around, you will find a very diverse collection of questions and answers.

Have fun

Regards

Hi Craig!

Best tip - Ask us all loads of questions!. Someone here has always got an answer and I've learnt such a lot about WDW/Orlando from all the posts.

No question is too daft and you can always get put in the right direction for links to other useful sites.

Have fun! :)

......another welcome to the boards from me :) Check out the UK Trip Planning board for questions regarding holidays to Florida - we cover all parks and places in Florida on that board, plus we are happy to have Disneyland Paris questions too.
The UK Community Board is off-topic ......... a friendly board to have fun, get to know each other, offer support and share good days and bad days etc etc.
Our UK Trip Reports board is full of wonderful reports from people who have returned from Florida ( occasionally DLP), sharing the days they had on holiday with us and I can tell you, the reports are wonderful - full of tips and info as well as being entertaining and funny.... these are real labours of love :)
Just PM or e-mail any of the moderators of those boards if you have any further questions, and do post questions that may help others e.g. if there is an abbreviation you don't understand.

Hi and welcome!
You'll find lots of useful stuff here!
A good tip though is to separate your questions and put each one into a separate thread. You'll get more replies that way!
Have fun!

Hi Craig and welcome to the DIS

Feel free to ask any questions you like, about anything you like, we love to talk Disney, Trip Planning and well...just about anything else :)

How about starting with some details of your trip? You say you've just booked November '03, have you been at that time of year before? When in November, is it before or after Thanksgiving - maybe planning to see the Christmas Decorations? In which case you may be there for the extra curricular events such as Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. How about a behind the scenes tour as you've been twice before...they even have a special Christmas tour. Where are you staying - on or off-site?

Questions, questions ;) However, if you give us some idea about when and what you'd like to do, then we are always more than happy to jump in and help if we can :D

Also, have you checked out www.wdwinfo.com which is the main information part of this site? You'll find park info, resort info, restaurant menu's...lots of info! :)

Fire away with the questions :)

Penny :)
