Fort Wilderness to Wilderness Lodge walking trail reopened?

I got notice that Disney is allowing the Wilderness Back Trail Adventure to be booked. Does this mean the walking trail between the two resorts has reopened?

I think that may be the Segway tour of the Fort. I don’t believe the path will be open for a while based on the recent pictures I’ve seen of the area.

I'd like to know this also. Biking / walking from WL to Ft. Wilderness is one of our favorite parts of staying there. I've heard that Reflections: A Lodge isn't opening. Fingers crossed that the trail between WL and FW will reopen soon.

We just got back from a stay at BRV. If it is the nature trail that runs from the end of the cabins at CCV to FW past the basketball court, it is gone. The concrete is torn out after the last cabin and there is a fence up and a sign that says 'End of Trail'. Also, I tried to run to FW down the road behind BRV, and there are signs that say it is a construction zone and trespassers would be prosecuted. I was trying to find a way to run in between WL and FW the whole time... never could find one. I asked one of the lifeguards about the nature trail, and they said it would be a long time before it would reopen (if it all).

Interesting....I called Guest Services about this topic a couple days ago as we will be visiting in February. They told me the 'walking path' was open, the only restriction that it was not lighted. Maybe they misunderstood my question based on candyls1's recent report???

Maybe they have been nowhere near the resort in years, if ever, and don’t know that they are passing on inaccurate info.
