Fort Wilderness sleigh ride

I'm not sure if this the right board to ask but I was wondering what everyone's thoughts are on this before I go ahead and book it. I will be in Disney Dec 5-9 with my sisters and was debating adding this to our Xmas celebration, it looks really festive and something we've never done before. Any reviews would be helpful

We did one many years ago and really enjoyed it.

We did this a few years ago and absolutely loved it. They take you around the Fort so you can see all of the decorations guests have put up around their campsites. When we went, there were also carolers in another wagon, singing as they rode through the Fort (not sure if they are doing that this year, though). They also gave us a special pin when we were done with the ride (hoping this happens again this year!) We booked it again for our upcoming trip in early December. I think it's a really, lovely, festive holiday activity.

I haven't done the sleigh ride but we did the Halloween one years ago and it was the highlight of the trip. My now grown kids still bring it up from time to time! I say go for it!

i tried to book for December 3rd the day they announced it was coming back and after 2 hours on hold found out they were already sold out. I then tried Dec 2 and they only had one time available for that day and it didn’t work for us

Same. I tried the first day it was announced to book for Dec. 1 and there was 1 time that wasn’t dark yet. I was able to book Dec. 2 but the next day had to call back and cancel since we move to Universal that night and I didn’t want to come back to FW.
So I was on hold 3 hours to book and 3 hours to cancel

Dec. 1 is the only night that works for us so Im going to try to call the days leading up to it to see if anyone cancelled. I wish they started this a few days earlier since we fly in right after Thanksgiving.

Ugh, hopefully I can book it for us. These phone wait times are so ridiculous, wish me luck.

Update: I was late to the game and the 7th is booked up. Oh well I'll check for cancellations closer to the date.
