Fort Wilderness perfect compliment to DVC

We agree, FW Cabins are great and compliment DVC well. :)

We did a week last Feb. in a cabin and so enjoyed it, I know we will have to do it again sometime! We actually did the cabin b/c we had already used our DVC allottment for our use year but still wanted to take a WDW trip without borrowing anymore points. We settled on the cabins b/c they did have a kitchen and living room like DVC, that and we also got a nice AP discount. The only DVC thing I missed was the washer/dryer. :(

FW was wonderful and soooo peaceful. In our little cabin in the woods we felt soooooo very far away from WDW. Yet we were only a boat ride from MK! We also rented a golf cart that DH and the kids thought was so cool. They waved to everyone as we rode around FW and everyone always waved back. I agree the residents at FW are a very friendly crowd.

Well, that is good to know!! Unfortunately, I think she is scarred for life!! However, I have to admit that it is one of my FAVORITE childhood memories...she worked SOO hard to keep dry that she raised her legs/feet as high as she could (exhausting her tummy muscles), so when she got out of the lake and off the horse, her legs and feet were dry, but her rear was totally soaked...it looked like she had SERIOUSLY pee'd her pants!! I laughed so hard that I just about pee'd mine!!! We didn't have a golf cart that day, so she had to walk all the way back to our trailer....my sister and I enjoyed that view the whole way back (hey....we were 11 and 13....those things are SOOO funny at that age).

I was already laughing at your first post and then you added this - LOL!!!!
