I read through a whole lot of postings on people getting decals of the Fort Wilderness logo (Mickey w/musket) but found no recent posts of a source to get one. Since there is a definite possibility I missed this or if anyone has up to date info I really would appreciate it.

All of my campers until now have had such, I really hope to get one.

(last at the Fort last week)

I have the link but can't post.. (post count too low) Search Musket Mickey

I don't know if you will find an actual sticker. I am using the pictures to make iron-ons to make t-shirts for our trip. Are you looking for a sticker or a picture to make into something?

PM a dis member named AubernJen.......she can help you out.

There was a supposed supplier on here a couple months ago who was going to make decals, but that turned out to be bogus and a potential rip-off so the thread was closed.

I asked some questions several months ago on a different DisBoard thread about making my own window clings. Disney Deeva posted information about how she makes hers and the type of ink it takes to keep them from fading.

I have 8 1/2 by 11 clear Avery labels that I used to make the sign for my camp site and they would work for decal-type stickers; but, I just have standard inkjet ink and it fades over time. :confused3

...Bought the vinyl stickers that with printed graphics.

Here is what a printed white vinyl graphic looks like after 1 year in the sun, only part of the day. This is a wood sign that was on the front of my house. I bought it exactly one year ago. This is why I prefer to pay the extra money for the layered vinyl graphics. They last 5-7 years and they don't fade back to white. I am replacing the graphic (that is white) with layered vinyl soon. This way, I save my beloved sign for the front of the house. The bottom of the sign is hand painted by the manufacturer.

This is a layered vinyl sticker on the front of our RV that is 3 years old. Notice that it is not faded because the vinyl is colored, not printed.

I am not trying to poo poo vinyl printed graphic stickers, but if you are someone that has to leave your camper outside and it faces the sun in any direction, you need to know this information in order to make an informed decision.

So ends my public service announcement of the day....:teacher:

I had this made from a BigDaddyRog creation. I went to bestdecal.com and you can create your own. I think it cost about $7.00

Where do you purchase the layered vinyl graphics? Your Musket Mickey looks great!

Grateful for all the info / knowledge I have gotten from these boards!

I'm also trying to put my hands on one (or more) of these and was going to go with the printed graphic, now I'm going to look a little harder for the layered vinyl style instead.

THANKS!!,

I was wanting to have some made specific for our VW group traveling from NY to Florida to commenerate the 2200miles we're all doingin in our Classic VW campers. :dance3:

Someone on Ebay has a simpler one, but still a Musket Mickey. You get to pick the color and what you want the text to say. Ours is maroon and says Fort Fiend.

You're welcome! The seller is very nice to work with! Talk to her about what you would like it to say!
