What kind of chairs/benches are provided at the nightly campfire & movie? Are they comfortable or do you recommend we bring our own chairs?

Should we bring roasting sticks for the marshmallow roast? Or do they provide them?

Do they sell snacks during the movie?

Thanks so much!!!

You can either sit on wood log type benches or bleacher seats. I prefer to have my own chair. There is enough room for your chair in front of the log seats. Some people also bring blankets.

The campground does not give free roasting sticks or marshmallows like the other Disney hotels. Roasting sticks cost $0.59 each. Bags or marshmallows and s'more's kits are also sold.

Snacks are sold from the "chuck wagon." The chuck wagon is kind of cute -- it looks like a wagon from the pioneer days. You can get coffee, soda, beer. I've bought popcorn and hot dogs there too.

Just google -- I can't get the link to work.

Personal preference, but I would bring my own chair. The benches are wood, so after a while they are a bit uncomfortable for me.

If you have them, bring them. You can purchase smore stuff, but its at Disney prices.

Do they sell snacks during the movie?

Yes, there is what amounts to a concession stand. However, you can bring your own snacks as well.

Thanks so much!!!

Have fun!

...You can get coffee, soda, beer....

I did not know that you could get beer from the chuck wagon. Huh, I'll have to give that a try...over and over again just to make sure :)

Not sure whether to get a full or premium campsite? I know it is cheaper for the full but will it be worth it?:confused3

You should probably post this is a new thread to get more answers. I personally prefer the premium sites so I have plenty of room for the awning, etc. It also seems to be easier to back in to.

Well I use to preferr the full specifically loop 1900, because it was in the back and out of way with plenty of space in between the sites. But that was back before the 5'er I got now as now I need more space which the wider paved Premium sites provide.
It just depends, if you can save the money go for the full, if you need more pavement and long wide sites for things like awnings with slides then you may want to pay extra for the premium.

We went to Wal-mart and got a set of the metal marshmallow/hot dog roasting forks for like $2. I saw a guy last night that had a contraption that let him roast a whole U-shaped sausage link at once... Guess he didn't need to mess with the chuck wagon!

We take our chairs because they are more comfortable and have cup holders. We also take our ice chest with our own drinks because I'm just that cheap :rolleyes1

They light the fires about 19:30 and the singing/Chip & Dale meeting gets going around 20:00. We don't usually stay for the movie but we love the s'mores!
