Fort Wilderness & Bouncebacks

We've never even looked for a bounceback before because we knew we wouldn't be able to afford it. Next year, however, we're looking to go twice: once for spring break; once for fall break.

Question is...are you able to get a bouceback offer at the Fort? I know that oftentimes FtW gets excluded from some of the really cool. Just didn't know i this was one of them.

Are bouncebacks offered to everyone, or are they random like pins?

We may be unlucky or unusual, but we have never gotten a bounceback. In fact I'm not even sure what one is. We stay at the Fort on average of 4 to 5times a year. Maybe they figure we will come back no matter what.

we just returned last night and we definitely got a bounce back offer. It was in our cabin from day 1..we did not take advantage though

We got a "bounce back" in Feb.(via "E" mail) while at the Fort but the discounts (up to 40%) were for the hotels nothing for the Fort. The new reservations had to be made before we checked out. Going to W.L. in Dec. with it.

This the bounceback we were offered during our stay last week. The value resorts were not included in the letter but when I called the person said 20% off.
It came via email not in our checkin packet.

I also got an email from Disney on the last night of my stay, with this offer:

There was no way I was going to spend a minute of my time at the Fort on the phone with Disney CRO.

As I read this, though, it looks like it is only for certain resorts, none of which are Fort Wilderness.

And this looks identical to what tlh0726 posted above. Only mine had this nice artwork to go with it.

I copied the orginal email and posted it into a word document so that I could read the info and make the call on our way home.
I was not going to pay 9.95 more than once.


Maybe they could offer the campers free internet or reduced golf cart fees!

I got the same offer that TCD and Tina got. I called and was told it was for Cabins only at the Fort. No Campsites are included.

I actually got a reply, not a form letter, for a real person as to why discounts aren't usually offered for the campsites. The reason is that they usually don't have a problem filling up the campsites, so there is no reason to give a discount. Apparently, the other resorts aren't as popular as The Fort. Well, we could have told them that. I don't like the answer, but atleast it wasn't a form letter.
