Hi All,
We have tossed around the idea of staying at Fort Wilderness in the cabins. My mom needs to use a wheelchair when we are disney, her ticker isnt what it once was and all that walking is just to much. Anyway, is this resort ok for guest in wheelchairs?
It looks like my son would love it and we are planning to do HDDR and MBBBQ so thats 2 nights we would be there, and I know he would love the Chip and Dale campfire.
We dont need a handicap cabin as mom can walk, it just distance that she cant do, and I would hate to take a cabin away from someone that cant walk up the steps. But how is the bus or boat transportation for guest in wheelchairs? I mean I seen they have internal shuttles from point A to point B, so I was just wondering how that all worked?
Any pointers, hints and tips would be great!
