Fort wilderness 2011 Christmas season!

Just checked in this afternoon and only had a chance to check out our loop (800) and 600 - plenty of fun decorations - including a really cute inflated RV on which the door opens and a Santa pops out. From what I've seen so far, the restrictions aren't keeping things from beging fun and festive. Can't wait to check out the rest of the fort!

We are staying at the Fort Dec 21-29 and requested loop 1700 we also rented from Kenny...SO EXCITED AND READY!!! Anyone else going during this time?

We're still on the fence about going back at Christmastime. It's so expensive to get a site during that time. We just got back from 5 nights at the Fort. It was so exciting. Loved all the decorations. Really had a great QUIET site this time, compared to Halloween. I just LOVE the FORT!!!!

We had the privilege of seeing Dave's Castle last year, and it was absolutely very awesome,

I wont arrive untill New Years Day. But if it is like last year, I will get to see a lot of decorated sites. I am spending the week of Christmas to New Years on the FL Atlantic coastline.
