Fort Lauderdale pre-cruise hotel suggestions

It's been a decade, but we had a good experience with the Embassy Suites. Restaurants, a shopping center with a Publix...all within a few minutes walking distance.

Also a fan of the Marriott Fort Lauderdale Airport at Dania Pointe. We walked to the outdoor mall and dined there for lunch and dinner, and then picked up waters and alcohol for the ship at the Sprouts market nearby. We also used their pool pass option on the day we came back, before our flight.

Second this. Stayed there last month. It was spacious, variety of resataurants/shops nearby, and a short Uber ride to the port.

Thankyou so much everyone!!! We ended up booking TRU by Hilton for pre-cruise (after all, its just for a sleep ) and then Hilton Garden Inn for post-cruise, although that one may change as I continue to research.

Apparently, there is a huge boat show in town starting the week before our cruise and through the weekend, so that is driving up rates substantially more than they already are in Ft. Lauderdale. I am seeing normal 3-400 rates at the nicer hotels up to over 1000 for that timeframe! 🤪

We stayed at hotel Dello Has a small pool but it’s just a parking lot away from Jaxson ice cream which is great to walk to for dinner and then a nice breakfast diner next door. Easy to Uber from there as well.
