I can’t find the answer to this anywhere else so thought folks on here might know. If you rent from Alamo at Fll airport can you 1. Skip the counter like you can at MCO ? and 2. Do you go to the garage and pick your vehicle from a row of the size you reserved ? OR do you take the vehicle that they bring to you. TIA.

We did this for spring break and it was the smoothest rental car experience we've ever had. We skipped the counter and picked from a row/category I'm pretty sure. Either way, it was waaaaaay faster than all of our experiences in Orlando. We had booked through costcotravel and then done all of the pre-registering stuff on our phones.

Herding Cats : Thanks for the reply. We’re using Costco too. I was hoping to be able to pick out the vehicle that we want. I booked a compact SUV but hoping there’s a lot to choose from, maybe something a little bigger. If not it’s no problem.

Rented from Tampa many times in the past mostly used Avis as we get a huge corporate discount especially for a day or a few but have used Alamo and national as well as sometimes the weekly was cheaper and it was definitely pick your own.
