Good morning friends! Still a little chilly here in the NorthEast, but we are supposed to reach 50 on Friday. Time to get the shorts out. YAHOOOOOOO.

Well, nobody took me up yesterday on my Kona coffee offer, so I made a smaller pot today, but if anybody shows up at my office, I can make more. I have cups and chemical creamer. Good morning.

Jim, my Lear jet is in the shop today or I'd be there for the coffee. I'll have to settle for my Maxwell House instead. Bummer.

60 today, 40, windy, and raining tomorrow when I'm on the road all day. How's that for timing?

But, the lenten fish Fridays start this week! Makes the whole week bearable!

Good morning!!!! It's going up to 70 something today!!! Thank goodness the thunderstorm chances dropped. If the chance of thunderstorms had stayed up, that would have been a perfect recipe for tornados!!

Do you buy your Kona coffee by the pound? Just curious abot the cost. I used to grind my own at the grocery store, but it was getting expensive. I still indulge in the occasional bag from Scooters or Starbucks.

I buy it bulk, whole beans, at the wholesale club. It's still pricey, but I don't smoke or gamble or have fun so I allow myself this one extravagance. It's so smooth, and no after taste. I brew it with distilled water.

Hmmmmm..... I must check Sam's to see if they have the whole bean Kona. I LOVES Kona Coffee and only splurge on it once in a great while. At a local coffee shop it's $16.95/half-pound. If the whole bean is cheap enough, it would be worth buying a coffee grinder. I still prefer half-n-half over the powdered stuff, though. Also, I like a ceramic coffee mug over a styrofoam. But, if you're providing the Kona, Jim, I can suffer!
