formal night question

I'm sure this question has been asked many times before but which nights are the formal and semiformal dinners on the western magic cruise? Also has anyone ever requested a specific restaurant rotation for their cruise? If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

The Formal night is on Monday and the Semi Formal is on Thursday.....Andy

Right now, the Formal is Mon And the Semi is Thursday.

We requested but did not get the APL rotation.

This puts you in the fancier "Lumieres" on the formal/semi nights.

While we did not get it , as soon as we got on the ship we went to Sessions (?) and got it changed.

It really helped because we could pack less dressy clothes.

I find it easiest to plan by just remembering that the formal/semi-formal nights are usually on at-sea days...

We requested a specific rotation for our cruise, but there were three parties who had linked their dining ressies together, and we each requested the same rotation separately. One was told no, another was told "We do not guaranty, can only take your request", and I was told "Certainly, ma'am, I'd be glad to take care of that for you." Since we were all seated at the same table by request, we all were on the rotation we requested.

Again, it all depends on the CM who answers the phone when you call!!

the dinning rotation that you want is APL. That way you'll be in Animator's Palate for 3 nights, the semiformal and the formal nights will be in Lumiere's, and the tropical night will be in Parrot Cay. I hope we can get that rotation for our cruise. Thanks guys for answering my questions. it was a great help.

Miss Eeyore - On the Eastern, formal night is on Sunday and semi-formal is on Thursday, so you can't be at Lumiere's for both. We had the PLA rotation on our Eastern, which we liked. Put us in Lumiere's for formal night, Parrot Cay for tropical night (Tuesdsay), and AP for semi-formal night.
