My friend at work has been planning a trip to Disney with some extended family and I have been helping her out with lots of pointers since none of them have been before. She just messaged me and said she realized that she did not add the 2 year old that will be with them to any of their dinner reservations. Anyone have any experience with this or advice on what she should do? TIA!

How many people do they have on their reservations? If they have 5, they'll generally be seated at a 6-top so it shouldn't be too difficult to get the 2 year old added. If they have 4, adding a 5th person is harder to accommodate.

Either way:
- 1st, try to rebook reservations herself, at the same location/approx. time but with the correct number of people. If there are openings, MDE will prompt her to cancel her existing reservation in order to make the new one.
- 2nd, call Disney Reservations and explain, see what they can do. If she's staying club-level, call the concierge instead of the regular reservation line.
- 3rd, keep checking for reservation availability. Chances are that there will be openings as others cancel last-minute, and they'll be able to squeeze in for the full party at most places.
- 4th, if there are any that can't be updated, ask the desk at check-in, and also stop by the restaurant early in the day to explain the situation to them directly. Be prepared to either cancel or show up and hope for the best (and chance being turned away).
