I am confused...soda ( here they are called soft drinks) is free at meals only. For in between meals they have the mug system of you can pay for a drink. I am reading about lemonade and people are talking like the lemonade is free...am I understanding this correctly? Also how much is bottled water on board? Thanks :D

Soft drinks are included in all sit down meals. In between times they are available at all of the bars, but there is a cost, plus automatic 15% gratuity. There is a drink station located aft on deck nine. Last year that station included milk, tea, coffee and water. I am inferring from recent posts that they have added juice and or lemonade to this station.

We are not planning on buying the mugs, too much trouble to keep them with us. Also, soft drinks at meals are pleanty. My kids are very happy with the offerings at the drink station.

I don't recall if they even have bottled water for sale, but the water from the drink station is apparently filtered and tastes fine. I'm pretty particular about the taste of my water and never had a problem. Bring or purchase a couple of sports bottles, you can fill them with ice and water at the drink station.

Happy sailing!

There is lemonade at the beverage station on deck 9, or at least there was in Oct. on the Wonder. Bottled water is available--I believe that it costs $2.50 plus tip. I agree that the water tastes very good--but then I drink tap water at home.

They do have lemondade, iced tea, and coffee. We are not soda drinkers at all and found the drink station on deck 9 perfect for us.

Thanks for the info!! Sounds like the mugs may not be worth the cost/aggrevation.

We bought a drink sticker on our Dec. 14 cruise, but ended up drinking more of the free lemonade. It was really cold and quite tasty! If I were to do it again I would forget the drink sticker and just have lemonade and water throughout the day.

Just got off the 1/4 Magic and the drink station has coffee, milk, tea, hot choc, iced tea and lemondae. It is manned by a CM that will serve you what you want. It used to be self serve, but no longer. They actually have it roped off and the CM stands on the inside of the roped area and you tell them what you want. I never found the line to be too long and it worked out fine. The station used to be open 24 hours, but now it closes around 11 pm and reopened around 6:30 am. I took some pics of the new drink station and will post them along with my other pics and trip report soon.

They do sell bottled Dasani water onboard for $1.50 and then you can purchase a DCL logo strap for the bottle for $2.00. They sell the bottled water at any of the bars and they also set up bottled water stations near the gangway for purchase for shore excursions.

Will they fill up a sports bottle with water for me, or do I have to use their cups? On our last cruise, I took my Tupperware insulated drink bottle and filled it up with ice water to keep with me all day or on shore, etc.
Just wondering if I can still do that since it is not "self serve" anymore!
thanks

Hello all, Just back from the 1/9 cruise on the first night the drink station had an attendent at it, but by the second night they were gone, also by the second night you were able to serve yourself again at the buffets. they passed out hand sanitizer for each guest to wash there hands with. I guess no one on board was sick or got sick.

Very good to know what type of bottle water they sell. I am incredibly picky about my bottled water - different ones have different "tastes" to me believe it or not. And also good to know that the water at the drink station is good. Thanks for that info.

The other option is to just order a pitcher of lemonade from room service (free) and keep it in your room fridge. That way, you always have some on hand to drink. We did this throughout our entire cruise - whenever we drank it up, we called for another.

Does anyone remember what sodas they have on board? We're getting comp. AAA soda mugs but I like diet Sprite and caffeine-free diet coke. Neither are usually in soda fountains. I'm wondering if I should bring my own.

Thanks!
