What are you thoughts about it?
Would you do it?
_________
I am thinking about doing it next year in Austraila.

I would love to get the oppriunity (sp) but I think I would miss my family, friends and pets wayy to much.
So I guess it would all depend on where it was too and for how long.

I think it's a great!
We had an exchange student from Japan a couple years ago.
I think it's a great way to learn about different places.
I would be kinda afraid but I would love to do it!
Oh, I would love to go to Australia!

Yeah we had a Korean exchange student in one of my classes in 6th grade. The only thing that I am worried about is that the home would be like a 3 room house with 11 kids or something bad!

that would be awesome adrienne!!!!! I would love to go to australia!!

Believe me, learning about different cultures is a great thing. Since being in the USA since the age of 8 I have learned alot. To come from a totally different Country and Culture like South Africa although it is not that weird of a country it is still a learning experience.

It is funny when I tell some ppl that I was born in South Africa they ask did you live in a jungle and were there Elephants in your backyard and lions.:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I'd do it if I went to England.

I saw this thread and went searching online about it and it's expensive. Over $8,000 to go to England for a month in the summer, $18,000 to go to Ireland for a school year. That's too much for me.

I'd do it if it were a European Country or something similar to that like Canada or Australia or New Zeland. I would NOT go to like an Asian country or South America or Africa. It'd be too much culture shock for me.

Next summer our family is hosting a student from Japan we were going to do it last summer but couldnt due to we were too busy...

I think that i will do it i would love to do it in Ireland or Guam

I'd love to do it.
But my problem is,I woudl get there and become immensly homesick.
All the dramamine in the world wouldn't help me.
It would become my main focus until I actually got home.

Please excuse my typos,its 218am

lol. I actually wouldn't mind it really.
It might get annoying after awhile, but it would be so awesome to meet all the kids there and see what they do in ther spare time, and the school and everything.

And just love australian accents. They are wondeful.

At my school we do foreign exchanges, but only for one week. I would love to do one at some point.

i had the chance of going to Germany on a forgein exchange but then i forgot to hand everything in and it didn't happen because not enough people signed up for it (in both countries) so they just made a short trip to Berlin for those who wanted to go. Then i forgot to hand in everything for that as well!

I'd want too talk too them and stuff but not have them live in my house.

i would love to do it in England or France over the summer though i wouldn't want to do it during the school year :goodvibes

I think it's be really fun...but i have a ton of seperation anxiety issues, so i'd never be able to be away from home for that long!!

I'd love to have a foreign exchange student live with me though!
We had a foreign exchange student from italy when i was in grae 10 (she was staying with a friend of mine) and she was totally cool. it was really cool to teach her about our culture.

but if i were brave enough to do it i'd definatley want to go to france. :)
or maybe england...because it wouldn't take as much effort to speak :P

England is very expensive, i know I live here! When i go to America its like a big half price sale, its great!

It would also depend where you go in England, London is tres expensive (i live just outside it) but if you went somewhere in the middle of nowhere it isnt as bad, just REALLY boring!

I would love to go to Austrailia, sounds amazing! I am hopefully going to move to America and work at Disney for a year in 2 years time (when i've finished my degree), so you might see me serving in the Epcot pub sometime soon ;)
