FORECAST



This weekend we will experience a dramatic temperature decrease.
Temperatures on Saturday in Southern Maine will be in the upper 30s and
low
40s.
It will feel unseasonably mild in the afternoon.

Yet, by Sunday, temperatures will plumet to 10 degrees with wind chills
down to
-20
and -30. The result will be an apparent temperature decrease of 60
degrees
within 24 hours.

It will become warmer by, um, *gulp* next Thursday.


Well, um, gotta run.

Ya....really looking forward to it...NOT!!!! Enough already! Once again we will be able to hear and feel that sucking sensation coming from the vicinity of the basement....you know, where the oil tank it !!

My sis is on route to FL and DD is flying out for Arizona tomorrow(with her father and his fam). My parents are already in FL....that leave DH, DS and I here to tough it out.....oh joy, I'm sick of being from tough stock....I wanna be a wimp!!

NO< NO < NO .. not more of that oil sucking cold weather !!! UGH

oh well that just means My DD will have to rest the ankle that is either severely sprained or slightly fractured ( can't find out till the swelling is down more at the beginning of next week ) which she did out sliding at school yesterday !!

Oh your poor DD! Not a great way to start Feb. vacation (is it next week for you too?) Hope it's only a sprain and she won't need to drag a cast around!

I think when we finally hit 50 degrees, all of us will be suffering from heat stroke.

If we see 45 degrees anytime soon...

Well, like the old saying goes, "If you don't like the weather in Maine- just wait a few minutes." I'm picking our friends up at the airport at about 2 pm........ just getting back from Florida..... they'll wish they hadn't come home!

Hey all and Happy Valentines Day ..

her swelling is down some but man its Bruised everywhere and she still can't put hardly any pressure on it ( altho she is her same old self and mad at the moment as I wouldn't let her go to her brother's Hockey game this morning w/ her dad as I feel its more important to keep it up !)

The weather is quite nice here at the moment Sunny 39.2 .. smells like spring - I love the smell of melting snow .. and I hear birds chirping !!
