Forbidden Journey

What kind of ride is Forbidden Journey? Is it a roller coaster? I want to see inside the castle and everything, but don't do roller coasters.

No it isn't a roller coaster. It is a bench on the end of a robotic arm that travels through a variety of scenes and moves you any which way it wants. There is a combo of simulators and animatronics that interact with you.

Thanks for the help. One more question, how rough is it? Does it really sling you around hard like the prehistoric dinosaur ride at Disney's Animal Kingdom? My husband has spinal cord problems and I wouldn't want to do anything really rough.

I don't find it rough but they don't recommend that people with back issues ride. Perhaps you can ride it first and be the judge.
