Well, after hearing my family babble on and on about how great and how much fun WDW is, my mother and father in law who are now both in their 70s decided they wanted to go for their 50th anniversary. They have not been to Orlando since they went with my wife in the 1970s. So this was basically a first time. I utilized all the useless Disney knowledge I now own thanks to all the research I did here planning our last two trips to plan out all the details for them.
I was very worried about them down there by themselves and felt like if anything happened it would have been my fault. But they returned last week from an amazing 8 day trip and I dont think they could have had a better time. They absolutely loved it. They wore anniversary buttons that they picked up in Town Hall and were treated like royalty all week.
It just goes to show, that as long as you are young at heart, Disney World really is for everyone.
BTW, this one could go in the funniest comment thread, but they were chatting with a newlywed couple on their honeymoon who after telling them they were there for their 50th anniversary, the newlywed bride replied. Oh, did you come here for you honeymoon, too??
