If it helps anyone I made ressies late about 35 days out (new DVC owner) and I could have booked any DVC (villas) i wanted during the mid sept time frame. the only thing not available was boardwalk villa bw view(prime view)
DVC on some of the smaller resorts are usually booked by the 30 day mark, so it shows lower attendance(least with DVC villas) during this time frame.

Now let us hope free dining doesn't bring all the crowds

I sure hope you're right!!! We're at the Pop 9/23-9/30, and I've been hearing about a lot of folks switching over to the Pop because of the pool situation at the AS Movie. I'm crossing my fingers that the parks will be manageable. Our last 2 trips were in January when the place was practically empty (by WDW standards).
